Save the bees eggs

yellow jacket bees are smart trying to save the colony when attacked by predator by removing some eggs…

We are considered the local bee removal experts in the Golden Horsehoe area for Wasp removal and Wasp control. We specialize in safe bee removals in the following areas: Stoney Creek, Hamilton, Burlington, Milton, Oakville, Mississauga and Toronto, Ontario (some area may involve extra fuel and time charges). We remove Wasps, Yellow Jacket bees, Carpenter bees,  Bumblebees, Hornets and Honeybees in a humane and safe manner whenever possible.

We consider ourselves bee removal or bee rescuer experts in the field because we have done so many of them, successfully. There is a true art to figure out where the beehive is located and sometimes it is extremely difficult to locate the exact nest location. So far we have done an excellent job saving and removing bees because we rely on bees behaviour, following our intuition, following the food supply chain when a bee brings back food to its hive, we use technology to locate heat the source, sometimes we follow  the smell or colour of drywall. There are many additional tricks which gives us a strategic advantage over our competition in locating and removing the nest safely humanely without being attacking or stung.

Why Ontario Wasps Are Dangerous

Yellow Jacket beehive

Look at how detailed the yellow jacket beehive is constructed. It is  designed to be efficient and the bee consequently has the ability to dive bomb predators who cause small vibrations to the nest…look out they come by the hundreds sometimes in matter of seconds!

Yellow jacket protecting it’s eggs and larvae… sometimes we can’t complete the bee rescue because of the nest being very aggressive and in full attack mode

Wasps such as yellow jackets, hornets, bald headed wasps and other species all carry poisons in their stingers and can prove to be quite lethal to our loved ones, our friends and neighbours. In case of multiple bites from one bee or multiple stings from multiple bees or hundreds of bites from hundreds of bees greatly worsens and can prove to be life-threatening. They need to be removed to prevent possible negative effects or death.

Please do not handle the bees on your own always call in the experts and ones who have a proven track record. When their nests are disturbed by humans, animals, rodents, other bee species or perpetrators  the bees go into attack mode and will sting everyone and everything else around and this could prove to be quite nasty and lethal. Therefore, the removal of these nests with the help reduce the Wasp population in Burlington.

We have the proper bee suits and equipment to deal with these wild insects and we also treat bees with dignity unless they pose a risk our team. We will capture them and later release them about 10-15kn away form their usual flight pattern. Asian or European hornets will be killed by our team as they attack and kill the honeybees-who we need to protect at all costs. Dozen or so of these killer bees can kill a normal beehive in matter of 1 or 2 hours. That’s 20 or 30,000 or 50,000 bees wiped out in short order, they don’t have a chance against the larger hornets. Unfortunately, the Armour the hornets have simply cannot be penetrated by the honeybee.

Bees feel your presence and the dangers you pose when getting close to the nest. They feel vibrations, moving air, smells, magnetic and electric fields. Some of the yellow jackets attack while others remove bee eggs to save the hive. They make a grey colour paper like shell by chewing wood chips and leaves and laying rows of this gooey glue like substances to eventually make a roundish elongated beehive nest. It is a beautiful piece of work when looked at closely, the colours are so impressive and awesome, simply a wonder insect which has evolved to make a perfect home from using free materials from mother nature?

Wasps and yellow jackets are beneficial insects. They feed their young on insects that would otherwise damage crops and ornamental plants in your garden. They can also feed on house fly and blow fly larva. Wasps and yellow jackets become aggressive when their nests are approached or disturbed.

Do you have a wasps nest or bees nest up 30 or 40 feet? Can’t get at it or are you afraid?

Not to worry, we also specialize in removing bees which are very high up in the building roof line, tree , church steeple, condo or 3rd floor attic in a home.

Here is a home that is built in the late 1800’s and the honeybees built their home in the old abandoned chimney clay flue. The chimney bricks had to be cut out and removed to get at the bees nest. It took a while but the job was successful and honeybees relocated. The customer was extremely happy and now wants honeybee colonies on his property. Just got to love people for reaching out and supporting honeybees….thank you All who do so!! And most of all they don’t use harsh chemicals such as neonicotinoids  or glyphosate (round up) that is very harmful to animals, our children friends and family along on their property.
